Graduate FAQ

What opportunities are there for graduates to gain teaching experience?

Limited opportunities exist for doctoral students to offer tutorials for the undergraduate degrees in Archaeology and Anthropology, Classical Archaeology and Ancient History and (for relevant options) Human Sciences. Students wishing to teach must attend the relevant course organised by the School of Archaeology in conjunction with the Institute for the Advancement of University Learning. They must also have the permission of their supervisor and the relevant course co-ordinator. Normally, students will only be allowed to teach after completing at least one or two years of graduate study.
